Dea. Eddie Wallace, Chairman

As extended arms of the Pastor, we minister to the congregation as his representatives in matters that will further the growth of the individual member and the corporate body.  It is our responsibility to attend to the needs of the members of the Church, as related to the spiritual and the temporal needs that may arise.  As Deacons, we are passionate to develop a more Christ-like congregation and are committed to the standard of ministry proclaimed by the written and preached Word of God.

Mission Ministry

Evangelist Mary Martin/ Sis. Jennifer Long

Mission Statement:  We are a Mission Ministry trying to carry out the great commission of our Savior’s last message – to make disciples of all nations.  We start at our home mission base by being doers of His word by giving freely, by visiting the sick and meeting for the purpose of prayer and study of God’s word in order to equip ourselves to serve.  We must get our young people prepared to replace us so we must help to organize youth circles for the children.  We are united with other mission groups like; Christian President’s and worker’s councils and “The Church Women United”.   We engage in activities that also donate to our foreign mission and scholarship.  We desire to do more with our Church scholarships and reward our young people as they attend college. We support our Pastor and Church in spreading the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sunday School Ministry

 Sis. Ezerine Harris - Superintendent

Mission Statement:  Sunday School accomplishes one of the greatest needs in the twentieth century Church education.  Therefore, the mission of the Sunday School is to carry out the Great Commission as is found in Matthew 28:19-20: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”  Jesus told us to reach, teach, and win the lost.  Our intent is to carry out all three of these commands but the ultimate step of the Great Commission is “…teaching them to observe…” the written words and work of God and understanding the sacrifices of our Lord and Savor Jesus Christ.
